6 Degrees of Seperation
Interconnectivity has steadily become more prevalent in this modern global world of travel mobility and online social networking. The idea of linking any two people through six discrete connections is straightforward. However, surprisingly, the key to these chains does not stem from known acquaintances, but random, disjointed happenstance. Various mathematical metrics confirm the 6 degrees of separation theory is sufficiently valid to cover a global population up to 15 billion souls, but some human interactions go beyond pure analytics. How does this concept play out with historical figures throughout time and space, where chance and fate conspire to bring people together? That is the question which will be explored in the stories, supplemented with historical pictures.
